Wrong and Careless Living History Session: Academic Collaboration

Description

Please join us for our final Wrong and Careless of the semester, “Academic Collaboration” on Friday, 28 April, from 4:30pm-6:30pm at the Fox and Fiddle Pub (note the change in time). The session is put on in conjunction with the publication of our department's grad journal, Past Tense, and will be moderated by the journal’s co-editors, Katie Davis and Laurie Drake.

We’re hoping to engage in a discussion about not only the technical aspects of collaboration, but also the benefits of collaborative projects. In the spirit of the session, we’re forgoing our usual panel format and having an open discussion with anyone who would like to contribute. We’ll be joined by faculty and grad students who have experience co-organizing conferences and workshops, co-editing or co-authoring publications, and who are part of collaborative research projects. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!

The Fox and Fiddle pub is an accessible location close to campus (280 Bloor St). Food is provided by the department.

We hope to see you on the 28th!
