Just In Time: A New U of T History Class Delves Into the Obama Presidency

Department of History Professor Ronald Pruessen is teaching a new first-year class called “Barack Obama as History – Barack Obama in History”, which delves into the controversies, highlights, missteps and successes of the iconic figure. Students will discuss everything from foreign policy to domestic healthcare and more, including Obama's singular status as the first African American president of the United States.
