Professor Franca Iacovetta Discusses Newcomers' Foodways

The Globe and Mail recently looked at the stories of Syrian refugees who arrived prior to 2012, and their impact on Canadian foodways. A specialist in the history of immigration and a co-editor of Edible Histories, Cultural Politics, Professor Franca Iacovetta was asked to comment on the history of newcomers shaping Canadian palates as well as being shaped by them in return.
