This femfood Talks is the inaugural event of the Conflict and Food Study group based at York Centre for Asian Research, York University. The event is jointly supported by by departments at York University and the University of Toronto. The guest speaker is a prolific Tamil writer of fiction under the pen name Ambai and her talk focuses on Tamil women's writing and food.
