Biography :
Professor Loeb specializes in modern British social and cultural history. Her research interests include consumer culture, especially advertising, material culture and women. She is the author of Consuming Angels: Advertising and Victorian Women (1994). Her current research centres on Victorian patent medicines and the female market.
