Join us for a special screening of Dhalinyaro, Djibouti’s first-ever feature film, followed by a moderated conversation with director Lula Ali Ismaïl and Professor Safia Aidid. Dhalinyaro(meaning "youth" in Somali) follows three teenage girls as they navigate the challenges of young adulthood while preparing for their final qualification exams. This event highlights the work of a pioneering filmmaker shaping the cinematic future of the Horn of Africa.

 Event Schedule:
