This research examines the history of the Bahnar, an ethnic minority group in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, focusing on land ownership transformations from 1820 to 1945. About the Speaker:
Dang Anh-Minh Nguyen earned her Ph.D. in History and Religious Anthropology from École Pratique des Hautes Études, Université Paris Sciences & Lettres (France). Her research focuses on the histories of ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, with particular attention to land ownership, decolonization, migration, and territorial dynamics.
