Culinaria Research Centre Partners with Toronto Ward Museum

July 7, 2017 by Department of History Staff

The Culinaria Research Centre, headed-up by Professors Jeffrey Pilcher and Daniel Bender, are partnering with the Toronto Ward Museum, for a new program called “Dishing Up Toronto.” The program will run throughout 2017, and invites participants to discover the city through cross-cultural dialogues, stories about food and food tastings. As Professor Bender notes, “We recognize that the interest in food presents an extraordinary opportunity to generate productive conversations about diversity, belonging and community in ways that are enjoyable, fun, lively and can have a longstanding impact.” Learn more at UofT News.
